Default Shield with +5 energy please

Rather, there should be widely available off-hand items that provide a +5 energy mod.
There's currently an imbalance geared towards us folks with the European pre-order item, the Chimeric Prism.
At Strength 8, the prism gives +16 armour and +5 energy.
Whilst I love having this advantage, it's not really fair on the rest of the community.
Running a build with full sentinel's and a +5e sword as well as the prism nets me 30 energy. If I went for full Gladiator's and these 2 items, I'd have 38 energy, 5 more energy than the current possible maximum.
Absolutely lovely, but in no way fair
I know the pre-order items are supposed to be special, but this gives certain players an advantage over others.

There is a collector who has a shield which gives +5 energy, think he's near Ascalon, been a long time so not too sure.

It doesn't have max armour but it's attainable to anyone.

Besides if you need quick energy for a warrior, weapon switch with a focus item which nets you 6 energy even if you don't met the requirement, and use a shield the rest of the time.

a new +5 energy mod in shields (instead of the hp mod for example) would be cool

I'm not sure if it's the collector's shield or not but I have a carapace shield (or one that looks like it) with 6 armor and 5 energy, requires 4 tactics. Never use it because of the crap stats on it, but I kept it for novelty value. Had it since before factions.

I'm honestly not sure why you would want to drop a decent defensive mod on a shield for +5 energy, let alone losing 15% damage from your weapon for it.

Shields cannot be modded, and the chance of getting a decent shield is very slim. The last thing we need is another mod for shield.

Energy isn't really require that much apart from as said for running. Now in this case, you want a shield with high armour too.., really but the thing is, people do it fine now, and Warriors are built for adrenaline, not energy, i only have 2 skills on mine that uses energy, the rest are adren or signets, and the other one that does is mend ailment, because you never have a condition removal monk when you get a condition... Anyways, my point being is that warriors don't really need the energy, if you want more energy use glad's and then for extra armour you always have dolyak signet if you don't need to move quickly.

While i agree that the chimeric prism is overpowered, a shield isnt gonna cut it.

Heres what the suggestion should be:

Please allow offhand items (focus and shields) to be able to get the +5 energy mod just like all other weapons.

Good idea Lyra

As for the argument about dropping a decent defensive mod, you're missing my point.
Whether you think it's crap or outstanding isn't of concern.
My point is that all players should at least have the CHOICE of having similar equipment, otherwise, when one day someone finds a build that only works with this equipment, only the elite few will be able to utilise it.

This can't be implimented, or the only reason people should buy pre orders will be for the pre order event, if the pre order items will be given in another term later in after the release.

Poison Ivy, for every other pre-order item as far as I'm aware, it's more than possible to get items with equivalent stats, or in the case of the other Prophecies pre-order items, BETTER stats. Yes, the model and skin may be unique on pre-order items, but that's about it.

I'm not saying that the pre-order items should be made widely available, I'm saying that items with stats that match should be available to the userbase as a whole.

True, the point is the stats should be available for all players - the obsession to maintain balance.
